It was initially stated that there were 5696 open positions, but the number has since been adjusted to 18,799 positions. With this revision, the total number of vacancies has tripled, significantly increasing the chances of selection for the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

  • Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in specified trades.
  • Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in specified trades.
  • Matriculation / SSLC plus three years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering.
  • A combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized Institution in lieu of ITI.
  • Degree in the Engineering disciplines mentioned above will also be acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 33 years (Relaxation applicable as per rules)

Selection Process

The selection process includes the following stages:

  1. CBT 1: Initial screening through a Computer Based Test.
  2. CBT 2: Second stage of the Computer Based Test.
  3. CBAT: Computer Based Aptitude Test.
  4. Document Verification: Verification of documents for candidates who pass the CBTs.
  5. Medical Examination: Medical fitness test as per the prescribed standards.
